These Terms of Service govern your use of the Plait Health app and website, operated by Murdoch Dietary Limited (“Plait Health”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Plait, you agree to these terms.
Plait Health is not medical advice. It is informational only and is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or care from a qualified healthcare professional.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Plait. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Plait with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in credentials and for activity on your account. Report any suspected unauthorised access to plaithealth@gmail.com.
Subscriptions and billing
Plait offers a weekly plan ($4.99) and an annual plan ($179.99), with a 3-day free trial. On iPhone, subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID under Apple’s terms. On the web, they are billed by card through our secure checkout, processed by Stripe through RevenueCat. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings on iPhone, or from your account on the web.
Refunds
If Plait is not right for you, email plaithealth@gmail.comwithin 30 days of a web purchase and we will refund it. This 30-day money-back guarantee applies to purchases billed on the web through Stripe and RevenueCat. Purchases made on iPhone are billed by Apple and are refunded through Apple’s own refund process, which you can request from your Apple account.
Medical limitations
Plait provides nutrition information only. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose any condition, and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any nutrition figures shown, such as calories or nutrients, are estimates.
Acceptable use
You agree not to share unlawful content, infringe the rights of others, spread medical misinformation, reverse-engineer or interfere with the app, use bots or other automated access, or submit false data. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are broken.
Intellectual property
Murdoch Dietary Limited owns all app materials, content, and branding. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without our permission.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or for negligence causing personal injury.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of Auckland have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. Where changes are significant, we will give reasonable notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
